The actual Florida Gators basketball plan has been on the well known emotional rollercoaster yesteryear five years. After successful back-to-back national championships in 2006 and 2007 they failed meet their betting odds and did not get to the tournament in 2008 and 2009 settling instead for playing in the NIT. That changed last season when Donovan's Gators (29-8) returned to the "Dance" turning in an impressive four-game performance.

After winning the actual SEC regular period championship with a record of 13-3, Florida came up short in the conference title falling to Tennessee. Despite the loss the Gators still earned the No. 2 seedling in the Southeast Regional where they beat Santa claus Barbara UCLA and BYU to advance to the ¡®Elite Eight'. However their event run ended having a 74-71 overtime loss in order to Butler in the ¡®Elite Eight'.
 
Sarasota lost three starters from last year's team including the SEC's Player of the Year Chandler Parsons. They'll Carmelo Anthony Jersey be smaller and quicker this season with 5 players in collection for minutes at the guard spot. Donovan rebuilt with a solid prospecting class and a noteworthy transfer from Rutgers, Paul Rosario. The former Scarlett Knight star averaged 16.7 points per game two years ago and Jameer Nelson Jersey could be part of a four-guard alignment along with the Gators starting Amar'e Stoudemire Jersey backcourt from a year ago, Erving Walker (14.Six) and Kenny Boynton (14-2). Harvey's Take: A consensus of preseason forms have Florida ranked 19th. It will be interesting to see how Donovan divvies up the basketball between Master, Boynton, Beale and Rosario, three of whom were McDonald's All-Americans. The frontcourt is an issue but Billy Deb. has months to figure out a plan.
